why wont they let me start

alright well i decided to go through the training to work at a casino. i was told it was a 4 week long no pay training, 6 weeks max in case if it was a slower class. i go 2 hours a day mon-thu. i bite the bullet and went for it. but i had to quit my other job because i couldnt do school, training, and job at the same time. well we are on week 10 now. i have my dealers licence and compleated the class, i wanted to get on this new schedual and i asked the manager if i would be on it. the boss said not yet, i will be on the schedual in 2 weeks. oh my god. i have been communting to the casino every day 40 miles round trip in a 8 mpg truck. and they wont put me on the schedual cause they dont "need" any positions filled. im now compleatly out of money and dont know how im going to get to the casino now or even my classes with no fuel. i cant just quit the training and leave with my licence to another casino because the casino payed for my licence and they take it out of my check. so they own it. i just dont know what to do

Couldn't you talk public transport? Bus? Train? It's cheaper...
If I've read this correctly, then you'll be on the new scedual in two weeks, right? So just borrow money from somebody for transport, and when you're on the Schedule in two weeks, pay 'em back.

well im live quite a ways out of town and this town doesnt really have a public transport. i live far enough away where i have to get on the freeway for quite a ways. i wouldnt mind carpooling but nobody lives near me
but i did get a little break, a friend lives about 2 miles away from the casino and he has alowed me to live in his motorhome in his driveway to cut down fuel costs until i start (glamorous, right? but at least it helps) . i will still have a 20 mile round trip to the campus but it still will cut down alot of fuel cost. im going to drop the truck as soon as i can and get a moped

What truck do you have? At 8mpg I would check there's no hole in the fuel tank
