flexiglass
When i bought my ba falcon ute part of the final deal was to have a flexiglass hardcover put on it.I've now had my ute for over a month, the cover is permanently warped, bends exessively in direct sunlight and water gets in.I have approached flexiglass and was spoken to like i am a complete idiot or as if the fault is with me,not the cover,or them.Anyway, they promised to give me call when my new replacement cover was ready (2 weeks ago) but no call. What's most frustrating is one hasn't got the time to do all the running around. So i have yet to get my replacement cover fitted, when so,if the same problems arise i will happily fork out more $$$ for a ford genuine product....I'll keep you posted.

After 2 or 3 months after my hardcover dillema i went to flexiglass jandakot to get my hardcover changed. The guy in the service department was friendly, listened to my winge and said to me "ok,i'll see what i can do for you"
After 4 hours i got the call that my ute was ready. I rocked up,spoke to the guy.... For starters flexiglass malaga had installed my wetherproof seal too close to the front of the tray...not only that but back to front,so when the lid was opened water would rush straight into the tray.So a new, more solid hardcover was fitted, with wetherproof seal installed further towards the back...and not back to front, and strips of aeroflex were put in to stop water getting in the corners. So,at the end of the day,the dickheads in malaga rushed the job,did a shit job,and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner, thereas at jandakot,i was looked after in more ways than one. |

I had to add that another city in Cockburn is named 'Munster'. Not phallic but still hilarious. Actually, Rudi does have some ab0 blood in him. I think it's from his Dad's side though. |
