I just posted this on EHS Bums.

I was downstairs when this happened so I missed the hilarity, but those of you that have been to my house might know that we have a fluffy white cat.

Lauri was in her room doing her homework when Kobe (yes, Kobe) jumped up on her desk seeking affection or food. Unfortunately for Kobe she had a couple of candles lit on her desk and as it turns out fluffy cats go up quickly. His tail brushed the candle and caught fire immediately. I'm not talking singed here, it actually caught fire. Kobe looked back at his tail in a kind of panicked way but couldn't do anything about it. Lauri had to smother the flames with her hands. I think she just kind hit the fire a couple of times and it went out.

Now the cat hates her and when she tries to go near it he runs away.

Man, that cat is a fire hazard. You should get rid of it, or at least slap a warning sticker or something on it.

You could also cover it in flame retarding gel like that guy from Rammstein.

I used to like cat's when I was a kid, now I'm older and have the opinion that any animal that goes to the toilet in a tray, in the house, shouldn't be allowed. When my friends go on holiday I have to look after my friends house cats and the smell from the litter tray after one day is disgusting. Cat pie anyone?

At least cats bury their shit instead of leaving it to fester like dogs do. My cat goes outside to shit. You'd think it would have run out of places to bury it by now but I have yet to stumble upon cat shit!
